Thanks so much for looking at my website and considering me as your supervisor.  I am open, down to earth, and bring playfulness and a philosophical curiosity to our work together. I am very aware of the power dynamics within supervision and work hard to create a balanced equal approach to our work together.

I am neurodivergent and welcome enquiries from neurodivergent supervisees as well as neurotypical supervisees or supervisees who find themselves working with neurodivergent clients.

I offer a 30-minute free video call so we can talk about my way of working and your hopes for supervision to see if we are a good fit for each other. Please read more for more information. 

I only work online which makes me accessible from any location in the UK.

Firstly a little bit about me and my training. I have trained to a foundation degree level in Psychotherapeutic Counselling and a level 5 diploma in Humanistic Counselling. I have had 10 years of post-qualifying private practice experience. I have experience managing a local affordable counselling charity.

My lived experience intersects queerness, fatness and neurodivergence. Having a supervisor that can really support you in your areas of diversity is really important. 

I have completed my Advanced Status Diploma in Supervision with Iron Mill college.

In my private work, I specialise in working with gender diversity and spiritual abuse. 

As part of my humanistic training, I have my roots in person-centred theory but love working with existential theory, and TA. I work in a really collaborative openly curious way, where I invite you to explore your working experiences following various models of reflective working.

I know from my own experience of not-so-good supervision, just how important it is to have a supervisor with whom you can build a good working relationship. I bring my way of being - playful, curious, explorative, passionate and philosophical to my supervision, and you will bring your way of being too.

Supervision is all about you getting what you need from your supervisor to help support your work.

I am not trained in working with children or couples, so wouldn't be able to help supervise your practice in these areas.

I offer a free 30-minute call to meet and get to know each other before we start working together. The supervision relationship is so important and we both need to know what you want out of supervision. I send out a get-to-know-you form before our first session, to give you some ideas of what you might want to ask me, as well as to give me more information about you and your practice. It includes questions like "if you were interviewing me for the job of your supervisor, what would you want to ask me?"
